We started kitesurfing in Antigua back in 2002 and have spent nearly two decades crashing, destroying kites, and getting dragged down the beach so you don’t have to! We share our passion for riding boards, flying kites and learning to hydrofoil by providing the most professional, personable, thorough, and safe instruction there is. Pro Level Coaching
The entire Kelsick Kiteboarding team consists of the best kite & foil coaches around the world. Our goal is to make learning as fun, safe and easy as possible.
Boat & Beach Support
We run a hybrid model of time on the beach and time in the water which results in quick and safe progression. We use the beach to get super comfy with kite control and then move into the water with boat support for the next stages of progression. It’s a game-changer not having to walk up the beach or reset after just a few runs.
Radio Communication
We use radios during our water lessons which will give you the comfort of having your coach there at any time you need them. This also helps speed up your progression as coaches get to give live tips as you need them.

Antigua and Barbuda get a steady trade wind from mid-November until the end of July which makes it a very consistent place to learn. It’s warm sunny and quiet 90% of the time, the island also has a list of dreamy locations to ride at which makes it not only a great place to learn but also a fun explore once you get past the basics. Just spent the morning learning to wave foil with Jay. Great instructor, very patient. Clear briefing emphasising safety. All the equipment seemed new and was kept in good condition. Nice boat too! Had a great time. Price for 2 hours one to one wake foil instruction was $330USD.

Met the team at their facility. First impression were great. Jake has a clean tidy and well equipped school with a massive emphasis on safety and fun. After our safety briefs and minimum fuss e-paperwork we were introduced to Jay for our wing foiling introductory lesson.
Jay is a great and patient instructor, he took time to go through the constituent parts of the board and foil and explain why we were using the kit we were using. Out to the boat for a quick trip to a suitable location due to the wind direction (beach based classroom, does it get better?) practice with the wing then off for the foiling.
Great fun! These guys and girls are ultra patient and encouraging. Highly recommended if you’ve not done many water based board sports. Can’t wait for round two.

We had lessons with Kelsick Kiteboarding and went on boat trips to a flatwater spot off the main island. Jake runs a great outfit, everybody is competent, careful, patient, friendly and fun. Easy and good communication before our trip and while we were there. This is a great school for anybody to learn kiteboarding or winging and if you're already riding independently, it's nice to go on an outing to beautiful spots that are only accessible by boat. Highly recommended.

I was in Antigua late October, just before the wind season. So basically there was no wind to kiteboard, or get lessons…so I figured I’d try and get Foiling lessons. I contacted Kelsick kiteboarding, and Megan answered my emails and was so accommodating. I said I’m here, no wind to kiteboard, can I get a foil lesson.
Although it was the very beginning of the season, Megan and Jake went out of their way and set me up with a foil lesson! Jake was so nice (just how you see him on YouTube) cool an relaxed! He was so patient with me and got me foiling in 20 minutes! He’s amazing, Megan is amazing…I can’t wait to go back, it’s such an amazing place!

The whole team at Kelsick’s are awesome, Jake and Megan are the nicest people you can hope to find running a kite school.
I had a session with Fede as our instructor, who is a lovely knowledgeable kiter with a great way of explaining things.
Their equipment all seemed box new and being North is top quality, but as we’d just bought our own new gear (with their advice) we used that and Fede helped with some top tips on our set-up.
I can not recommend this team enough. If want to kite in Antigua, check them out.

Megan was super helpful before we arrived advising on kit and kite sizes for the spot. The whole team have been fantastic. I had a lesson with both Fede and Mare who were both great instructors. Would highly recommend the whole team.
